I am a consumer researcher and Professor of Marketing. My research focuses on how marketing dynamics and personality traits influence consumer behavior. Lately, I’ve been particularly interested in understanding the dynamics that drive consumers toward maladaptive behaviors. My work not only examines consumer behavior in relation to life but also considers elements that consumer researchers overlook, such as the dynamics of death and mourning. My work has been published in leading journals across various fields, including fashion, marketing, psychology, and food studies.
Over the years, I’ve worked as a postdoctoral researcher and visiting scholar at prestigious universities, collaborating with researchers on multi-disciplinary research projects. My expertise spans quantitative and qualitative research methodologies, which I apply effectively to gain a comprehensive understanding of consumer behavior. I’ve also actively presented my work at numerous conferences and served as an area editor and reviewer for many academic journals.
In my teaching, I cover undergraduate and graduate courses, such as Research Methods in Social Science, Current Issues in Consumer Research, and Consumer Psychology. I have supervised numerous master’s and doctoral theses.
I serve on several executive boards and provide strategic advisory services to companies.
