Dr. Hakan Cengiz’s research focuses on the behavioral patterns, attitudes, and intentions of consumers. His work spans diverse research subjects including fashion, tourism, death, and health, and has been published in journals such as the Journal of Marketing and Management, Appetite, and Death & Dying. He is an active peer reviewer and editorial board member for numerous journals within his field. Dr. Cengiz is well-versed in contemporary consumer research topics, as well as qualitative and quantitative research methodologies and sales management. He brings this expertise to the classroom, teaching courses on these subjects. Since 2014, he has served in various administrative roles at his institution, including department head and assistant dean, where he has been instrumental in shaping academic policies and departmental strategies.
